Field Sales Manager NL

Silverfin reinvents the way financial advisors work: our cloud-based technology allows +500 accountancy firms and financial advisors to streamline significant parts of their workload and spend more time on value adding activities.

Growing rapidly since our founding year 2013, we have completed a series-A funding round led by Index Ventures. These funds are used to accelerate our international expansion. Originated in Belgium, we have successfully launched activities in the Benelux, UK and Nordics, and are about to enter additional markets across Europe.


We are currently expanding our sales team in the Netherlands and looking for a Field Sales Manager to build our local presence.

Your role

  • Responsible for achieving the ambitious sales objectives and the commercial development of the company within the Netherlands

  • Eager to build opportunities in a new market and to establish trustworthy relationships with prospective clients.

  • Actively following up all new business opportunities and passionate about effectively closing deals. You are good at sales forecasting and delivering according to expectations.

  • You are a team player, able to coach the local sales team. You are responsible for the follow-up of their individual KPIS, and you know how to motivate and guide them in their development.

  • You prepare periodic action plans in which you translate the long-term strategy into a concrete policy to achieve the objectives.

  • Good cooperation is an important driver for you. You are in close contact with other departments, such as marketing, CSM and product.

  • Within this position you report directly to the Benelux Area Manager.

What makes a good Field Sales Manager


Must haves

  • You have at least 5 years of progressive experience in B2B sales roles in the professional services and/or technology space.

  • You have at least 3 years experience in a comparable position.

  • You are strategically and commercially a strong leader who is able to execute and improve business processes.

  • You are able to raise the organization commercially with your experience. You like challenges.

  • Solid conceptual understanding of cloud technology, SaaS

  • Obsession with client happiness and deal generation

  • You feel at home in a practically oriented informal corporate culture.

  • You speak Dutch fluently and have a good knowledge of English.

Nice to haves

  • Ideally, you have industry experience and knows how the accounting sector evolves.
