Growing rapidly since our founding year 2013, we have completed a series-A funding round led by Index Ventures. These funds are used to accelerate our international expansion. Originated in Belgium, we have successfully launched activities in the Benelux, UK and Nordics, and are about to enter additional markets across Europe.

Your job

As an FP&A Analyst, you will focus on making our analysis, planning, budgeting & forecasting performance more robust.

Joining the finance team, this is a unique and exciting opportunity to work with lots of interaction with key stakeholders across Silverfin to make our decisions even more fact-based, and help us support our further growth.

You’ll report to our Finance Manager, and will be working a lot with managers & stakeholders within all our departments: sales, marketing, customer success, product, people, etc.

What would your work week look like? 

You’ll become our planning & analysis backbone by:

  • Updating, and iterating financial models across the business, allowing detailed forecasts of the company’s future operations
  • Comparing historical results against budgets and forecasts, performing variance analysis to explain differences and monitoring improvements going forward
  • Working with diverse teams to prepare budgets & evaluate performance against target, by setting & monitoring relevant performance indicators
  • Delivering insights on recurring & one-off questions that require data input, analysis, visualisation or all of that combined. You’ll be collecting, combining & consolidating data from different sources & tools, to get the answers that we need
  • Suggesting initiatives, visualisations or KPI’s that bring additional insight
  • Helping in making the current FP&A processes future-proof and ready to scale

Are you a match?

Having min. 3-5 years of experience & a graduate degree in Finance related field, you’ve proven to have:

  • A healthy passion for numbers. After all, you’ll be facing them on a daily base!
  • A strong analytical mindset. You know what sources, methods and queries it takes to answer the questions raised.
  • Some communication & partnering skills. It will help you build trust while challenging spending and digging into value/cost drivers.
  • A good dose of technology feel. It will help you forward while you’ll be wandering through our diverse data sources, tools and platforms.
  • Some presentation skills. Once detected, we count on you to bring things to the table in an insightful and visual way. Think charts, dashboards and infographic style.
  • Critical thinking. The key to success for spotting trends, patterns, and other interesting facts & figures that bring us the insight we’re eager for.
  • An eye for detail. Only right & precise numbers allow correct conclusions.
